Waiting for a Spring Chorus!

Still chilly in Chicago, but spring is quietly arriving—buds closed for now, daffodils warming up for their grand choral debut.

Waiting for a Spring Chorus!
Tightly closed buds today, but soon… a full chorus of daffodils!

Is Spring Really Coming to Chicago?
That’s what I keep wondering—because it’s still so cold! It even snowed this past Monday. But around the city, early spring flowers like hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils are beginning to peek through.

In our own garden, my husband planted lots of daffodil bulbs last fall. Their leaves are growing tall and strong, reaching toward the sky. But the flowers themselves? Still tightly closed.
I’m eagerly waiting for the moment they burst into bloom—when it feels like the flowers are singing in chorus to welcome spring.
