I never celebrated Easter until I moved to the U.S.—and I didn’t really know what it was about. A cheeky podcast helped fill in the gaps, one bunny fact at a time!
Back when I was living in Japan, I’d heard the word “Easter” but never actually celebrated it—no one around me did either. But after marrying my American husband, I started celebrating Easter with his family and relatives.
Since I only encountered Easter as an adult, I didn't know much about its origins or meaning, and I’d just go along with the festivities. A few years ago, though, I decided to learn a bit more through this podcast episode:
Meet Your Hero is a podcast that dives into historical figures and events in a hilariously irreverent (sometimes too irreverent for the classroom!) way. In the Easter Bunny episode, they share the origin of Easter and how the bunny got involved—of course, with their signature mix of humor and cheeky storytelling.
