Our Stained Glass Butt Is Finally Up!
It’s finally here—our very own stained glass piece, designed and crafted together by my husband and me with Alex(makes.light)’s stained glass class, is now hanging in our home! When we sit at our dining table and look up, it’s always right there. And every single time, it makes us laugh.
Some friends we showed the design to didn’t realize it was a butt at first because of its abstract shape. They just said, “What a lovely design.” But when we remind them, “It's a butt!”—that moment when they burst into laughter is honestly my favorite part.
Aside from being delightfully cheeky (pun intended), the stained glass serves a functional purpose too! It provides some privacy from our neighbors and also helps prevent birds from accidentally flying straight into our window. It’s the perfect combination of art and function—playful and practical, just like us!
